Setting Up Your Workspace

Your workspace is the foundation everything runs on
Getting this right in the first 10 minutes saves hours of confusion later. Let's configure the three things that matter most: your company details, your tax settings, and your invoicing defaults.
Step 1 — Company information
Go to Settings → Workspace. Fill in your company name, address, phone, and website. This information appears on every invoice you generate, so accuracy matters.
Step 2 — Tax configuration
Proactiq auto-detects your tax regime based on the country you selected at signup:
- India → GST (CGST + SGST for intra-state, IGST for inter-state)
- UK/EU → VAT
- USA → Sales Tax
- Other → Custom or none
Set your default tax rate and GSTIN (or VAT number) under the Tax tab. Every new invoice will pre-fill these automatically.
Step 3 — Invoice defaults
Set your invoice prefix (e.g., INV), payment terms, and any standard notes. When you create your first invoice, everything is pre-filled — you just add the line items.
Banking details: Add your bank account under the Banking tab. These appear at the bottom of every invoice, so clients know exactly where to transfer payment.
